Special exhibition donated by Ren Hucheng and Ren Jingwen was organized to welcome the “International Museum Day”. The exhibits were donated by folk collectors Ren Hucheng and Ren Jingwen.

      Ren Hucheng born in Chang’an District Xi’an City is the executive director of Shaanxi Collectors Association and the director of Eaves Tiles Committee under Shaanxi Collectors Association. He has devoted to eaves tiles collection for more than a decade and has organized many exhibitions related to eaves tiles of Qin and Han Dynasty. He donated to Han Yangling Museum 9 eaves tiles with inscriptions and a square brick with 16 Chinese characters, which are the treasures of its kind in the Han Dynasty.

      Ren Jingwen born in Gaoling County Xi'an is also a member of Shaanxi Collectors Association and the vice director of Xi'an Collection Research Institute. He has collected thousands of articles related to cattle, organized many exhibitions and published a book 《Print of a Hundred Cattle》. He donated ten exquisite articles reflecting the production and daily life of the Han Dynasty, including a cattle-drawn chariot, 8 daily pottery utensils like painted pottery pots and paint pottery pots in the shape of cocoon and pottery pigpen with toilet.

      This selfless spirit embodies the concern and strong passion of collectors towards the traditional cultural heritage. The donated relics have high historical and artistic research value and greatly enriched our museum collections.
