The figures have round and plump faces, mustache, closed mouths, who may symbolize the image of competent and obedient officials or servants. The standing female figures are 51cm in height. Their hair are divided in the middle and combed back and twisted into a knot, while strands of hair are taken from the knot. The female figures with white robe have a plump and beautiful faces. The kneeling female figures are 41cm high and have the same hairstyle as their standing counterparts. They are dressed with purple or white robes and have a beautiful face. The figures in kneeling posture stretch their hand, who may originally hold something. Dancing figures are about 55cm in height, whose hair are divided in the middle and combed back into a knot. The figures with two-layers of long-sleeved dancing robes raise their right long-sleeve above the shoulder while the left one stay at the back, freezing the beautiful dancing posture. The painted figures with modeled clothes unearthed from Han Yangling Mausoleum are vivid and exquisitely-carved. Though originated from life, they try to break through the reality, showing their positive attitude towards life. They are a batch of outstanding masterpieces that combines realism and idealism.
